Wow!! You've done an awesome job with that!! I am definitely using that for my 2008 member lounge layout!

See a test at http://ssbay.net/pages/testt.php

Is there a simple way I can take away the side-bar? Then it would be perfect and I can implement it right away :D

Thanks :D

here is a reworked "The Island 2"

no side menu
no search menu
no login section

show_menu
best if you dont have sub menus...

That's so much better! Now I;m almost there > yay!!

I have index.php open in dreamweaver now.. & I'm just wondering if I remove 'show_menu(1);' to get rid of the menu displaying as per usual?

If that's what I need to do, how do I then code in 4 or 5 buttons along the lines of 'bonuses' 'newsletter' 'downloads' columns' 'interviews' etc... just like normal > > will they display with the black buttons as per the normal navigation?

Thanks :D

show_menu(1); displays the menu based on your pages in WB.  I dont mean to be an ass. but it looks like you need to Read the Manual about WB.  http://help.WebsiteBaker.org/  it will explain some of the basic concepts of WB.  I hope that will help you.

Thanks, yes, but what I'm saying is that I don't want the website baker menu to load at all, I want to code-in manually some links.

Reading that now..

show_menu and show_menu2 usually display an unordered list
<ul><li>

you could take out the call to the function and put in your own unordered list.

i suggest you make a couple menu items with WB, look at the source code in your browser, and mimic the format directly in the theme.

~~~~~~~~BUT~~~~~~~~
my biggest question is, WTF?
why would you use a content management system and not use the system to manage your content.  just go get the theme from osd. and make static html...   me thinks you need to re thinks your approach.  i hope you arn't charging for your services.
Nah. Just because this is like a separate 'member only' section of the site, so I wan't it to be totally different from the rest but I don't wanna have to much around with second menus etc.. or would that be easier?
Because the Login is not implemented into this template. You'd need to manually add it. Ceck the Help Link on top and then the designer guide in the advanced docu for help on this.
cheers
