Title: "Make me a template".... Standing Offer
Post by: tomhung on September 25, 2007, 05:02:04 PM
Ok... So I've heard complaints about WB's templates.  I sorta agree, thus I have made lots of templates for WB....

I'd like to make a standing offer....

Post here (dont PM or Email) an open source template you would like for WB.  If I think it is a quality template and a good addition to WB's showcase, I will port it for you.

http://www.oswd.org/  is where i get lots of mine....

Greg

PS. Please make this sticky

Also [still looking :P] http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/3134 is nice when using the option of 'layout 2'

And http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/2744 is also very nice :P

>> I'll keep adding stuff here that you can look at :)

http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/2725 this would rock if it was centered and each of the menu buttons was reduced, like, high-ways

http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/2450 horizontal naviagtion on the left would be just fantastic with the links at the top only editable by editing the actual css/html whatever, lol. [it's so obvious I'm not good at this stuff, isn't it!? :P] Infact: This is my absolute favourite - if you'd mind doing it??

Im gunna keep posting cool ones I like as I search for the benefit of others :)

http://www.openwebdesign.org/viewdesign.phtml?id=4121&referer=%2Fbrowse.php%3Fpage%3D2 >> That's be awesome with navigation down the side panel, with the pannel a tad thinner, but the buttons still at the top, editable through only the coding..

Im thinking this is my favourite now.. LOL. Would you please, please, plase be able to do this one??

here is my first crack at "the island"

its hard to work with multi-block templates when not everyone uses blocks....

if you use this and get things working better, please post.

Just wondering if you offer is still standing?

Just found this and I think it's gorgeous :) >> http://www.openwebdesign.org/viewdesign.phtml?id=4030&referer=%2Fbrowse.php%3Fpage%3D24

And, there is a refinement of it here >> http://www.openwebdesign.org/viewdesign.phtml?id=4010&referer=%2Fbrowse.php%3Fpage%3D25

:)

Hi

I'm new to WB, but am loving it so far.  I work for a company that wants to offer templates for different chapters of our org.  I need two menus and log-in features.  I've been using Andres-02, but have been told to come up with different options as far as design goes.

I like this: Sweet Garden and experience at FreeCSStemplates.or g

You guys are all rock stars and I am barely a groupie here to follow the analogy...

Can anyone port these to WB and make it so I can offer them as choices along with the Andres-02 seamlessly?  I think it's a big job....

let me know if I'm totally nuts...

It might help if you provided a link to the templates.

Good Point.

http://www.freecsstemplates.org/download/zip/experience (http://www.freecsstemplates.org/download/zip/experience)

http://www.freecsstemplates.org/download/zip/axian (http://www.freecsstemplates.org/download/zip/axian)

What I need is these designs ported to WebsiteBaker with the funtionality of dual menus and log in.  Similar to the Andreas-02 template.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The problem is: these are blog-templates. WB is not a blog. Of course: One could make it with a lot of menues and special things - but the template will not be easy to use then.

Fair enough, I'm sure if I'd looked longer I would have realized...I'll look at more.  Thanks for the info!

I had a lazy sunday and adapted "experience" (which is a really great template)
Maybe I didnt everything I could have done... ;-)

You need: showmenu2, AnyNews and (not official) LastComments (http://www.beesign.com/WebsiteBaker/download/lastcomments_v0.1.zip)

And this attached

@mh2008:
Please have a look at the license before asking to port a template for WebsiteBaker.
This template (http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/3639) from oswd.org does not permit to re-distribute it, so this one may not be converted to WB and offered via the WB addons repository.
