Heh heh heh - it's a chillies web site. That's why it's red.

Is the Flash necessary? It took a minute to load over my home broadband connection, and was just an animated chilli pepper with 20 seconds of music. As fratm said, Flash puts a lot of people off.

At least you need to put a link from the Flash intro page to the next page so that people can skip it if they want.

Another thing is that the font is tiny in your main site. Apart from that, I think the grey/red colour scheme works well. Nice one.

Melissa.

 jep... i dont like them too

it was not my idea or even style to make animated intro-pages... im a pimp in case of doing flash stuff... but this client loves sites like that
he was planning to make the whole site in flash...aargh :-P

NIce design, fits well with the logo.
However, the menu doesn't show properly in FF . And I wonder about the red lines, are they meant to underline the text on mouse over, or do they really need to appear behind the text (which seems a little awkward to me)?
Otherwise: good job!

Dunno what the others are complaining about (apart from the Flash aspects).

On my Mac, using Safari, the main site itself looks great.. nice fonts, nice graphics, slick menu...

Nice Design, but the menu is not correct in Firefox 1.5.0.4 and Opera 9.1
The items Was ist das Pfefferzeichen and Preisträger / Rückblicke are overlapped.

the mac... might be my problem! all the sites i made look "i say good" on all browsers (firefox, opera, flock, safari and so on) on the mac. but it seems the template i work with (its made for 1024 x 768 pixels) looks kind of bad on windows-maschines. i go to install boot camp and run the tests on windows. the mac thakes it all... might windows too?

Was just checking to see if somebody else spots this ... ;-)

Most people just forget that there is more than just the 1 browser they are using. I always check with mozilla based and IE based.
