Title: Dumb (?) Problem about Templates
Post by: Alfagallery on May 13, 2006, 01:20:25 PM
Hi to all!
I can't undestand how to install a new template. For training I created a copy of the "round" template folder, I renamed it "Alfa" and after modifying the file info.php, i put it into the "templates" folder of my site.
but.... in the "settings" page of the admin control panel it does not appear in the templates menu...

what else I have to do? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

Modules, templates etc are installed through admin -> addons

then choose the zip, upload and istall is handled by WB

So, zip the contents of the dir (not the dir) then do the above

If you choose to ftp, then admin->settings->advanced settings -> reload addons (bottom of screen)

Have fun!
John

maybe I found the problem... there are 2 possibilities:
1- i was "pasting" text into wysiwyg editor
2- there was the report of an error with the extension .php

Hello,

the word "config(.)php" without () isn't allowed in the posts.
