In the package there is a subfolder /DOKU
There the procedure is described step by step.

Step 1 is really important!!!

WebsiteBaker 2.13.3 UPGRADE Instructions
=================================================

Step 1  - Preparing your existing system:
        - Make a backup of your webspace and database

Step 2  - Download WebsiteBaker 2.13.3 from https://wiki.WebsiteBaker.org/doku.php/downloads (https://wiki.WebsiteBaker.org/doku.php/downloads)
Step 3  - Download file unzip.php.zip and rename unzip.php.zip to unzip.php,
        - because it's not really a arcive file

Step 4  - upload the unzip.php and WebsiteBaker full or fix package archive
        - to the application path of your webspace.
        - Run unzip.php in your browser (https://yourdomain.com/unzip.php (https://yourdomain.com/unzip.php)).
        - if checked the unzip.php and the WebsietBaker archive will be delete themselves after successful execution of the unzip.php.
        - after extracting the archive click the button backend, login as superadmin
        - and follow the Upgrade Instructions - upgrade script will be startet automatically

Hello, the pages are in German, a language I dont understand or read. Which one should I download? The one with the icon NEW, the last one Dez 2022? It may be a silly question. I want to make sure I didn't miss anything important.
Thank you.

Ok, here are the direct links you need.

Current WebsiteBaker Version (https://addon.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/en/browse-add-ons.php?download=0E15BDB5)
Current unzip.php Version (https://addon.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/en/browse-add-ons.php?download=04D6D0F4) (this must be renamed from unzip.php.zip to unzip.php after downloading).
Here is the page in English (https://wiki.WebsiteBaker.org/doku.php/en/downloads), switchable via the country flags

Thanks for the info. One last question. Just a matter of curiosity. Is it possible to have the new version using the old database?
Thanks

What do you mean?

A new installation of WebsiteBaker and fill the database with an old dump?

One last question. Just a matter of curiosity. Is it possible to have the new version using the old database?

to explain it....

you have a old installation, doesnt matter, what kind of CMS. for this project, you've a database.
If you start the upgrade, you overwrite the old files on the server and they'll work with the "old" database. But if you've new features in your files, maybe this need also an upgrade for the database.
As simple example: i repair a lot of the old modules and and for every old entry 6 new fields in the database, created_by, created_when, modified_by, modified_when, published_when and published_until. the last to fields make is possible, that i can use the time settings to switch on or off this single entry like the section settings from WB.
to add this six new fields, i've to start the module upgrade.
WB do the same with the core modules from the WB-package if you run the WB-Upgrade-Script, so you can say: the WB-Upgrade-Script make an Upgrade for the database also, but only for the core-modules from the package, for all other modules, you've to start a manuell upgrade (if you found a newer version of this module(s)

Thanks for your reoly and explantion. I am just pushing WB to do everything that I haven't done before. I have 2 versions of WB and would like to use the same database. Just wondering if that is possible.
Thanks.

Also when I installed a fresh copy I received this error message "Error: [172] Installer Security warning! Illegal file access detected!!" Do you have any idea what it was referring to?
Thank you.

I sorted it now. It was something to do with my database or username it didn't recognised

Thanks
