Title: error when attempting to install module "Module directory /modules/?????/info.ph
Post by: bupaje on August 10, 2021, 07:32:51 PM
Hi. I am trying to install template 'fruesteg' from https://wbce.at/tpls/ and get the following error

Code: [Select]
[182] Module directory /modules/?????/info.php not exists or has invalide chars

I tried another template yesterday and was able to install it okay. I don't see any unusual characters in the file name so could use some help.

Thanks.

Hello, WBCE is a new project that has wb basic, so their modules and templates may not work without modification

Templates for WB are available here:
https://template.WebsiteBaker.org/ (https://template.WebsiteBaker.org/)
Adapted for Wb the template is also called Fruesteg_wb there

2005 is a long time ago
Which WB version are you working with?
Also php has undergone some major changes.

A possibly necessary upgrade to the current version 2.13 is not a big deal from WB 2.8.3.
This runs with php7.4 and php8

Thank you all. I do have the latest version of WB which was a new install but I didn't realize that there was a fork of WB and that the template was slightly different.
