Title: MiniHero Banner 0.5 - No "img-alt-Tag"
Post by: Blueeyes007 on March 10, 2019, 04:02:37 PM
Hi Com,

Thank you Ruud for this awesome-module.

I'm checked my website with "W3C-Online-Validator" and 1 error pop up:

"An 'img' element must have an 'alt' attribute".

I don't find the place, where I could add this alt-Tag in the code.

I hope you understand my problem and you can help me.

Sorry for my bad english :-(

Greets

Steve

Hi, so far i know is the hero image a backgroundimage. There is no alt needed or a place for that.
Seems your validator means another image of the page.

Thanx for your answer,

the  validator means the "img" with class="parallax-slider". Thisone was needed for the "Parallax-Effect". The code for this "img" was created by the module and i don't found the right position, where I can add the alt-Tag.

When using the W3C-Online-Validator, it's always very important to read the results as a reasoning human being and to determine how important it is that you correct such "errors".

In other words: Why bother.
