Title: Possible spam using WebsiteBaker security warning?
Post by: contactjw on January 14, 2018, 05:10:07 PM
Just got a message saying, "A new topic, 'Security Meldung 2.11.0 RC1', has been made on a board you are watching."

I didn't look closely and clicked on the link in the message. I got that the site couldn't be reached. So then I tried WebsiteBaker.org to see what happened and of course was connected right away. Then I went to the forum to see if there was a new security message. Nothing.

So then I went back and looked at the link and sure enough it was not legit. The url used .local instead of .org. So I thought I'd better post this in case someone is sending out false messages to website baker users for nefarious purposes.

Everything okay!!!!

it's a  (actual) hidden new theme for a new announcement, pre-written in the local testarea. (that's why the .local-Ending on the domain)
looks, that the local testarea send this information. we search for this setting and change it to a locale adress

thanks for information  (Y)
