Title: Suggestion: Add 'Order Administration' button to main backend menu?
Post by: seanie_morris on May 22, 2017, 02:18:04 PM
Would you nice developers here consider adding a button for 'Order Administration' to the main backend menu for where instances of Bakery is installed? Currently on my website as an example, I have many bakery pages on child pages throughout, so when I need to go in and check on my orders, I have to go:

Main Menu > Child Menu 1 (with possible Bakery) > Child Menu 2 with Bakery > Order Administration

I feel that as Order Administration is one of the most go-to sections in Bakery in a fully operational webshop, it would make sense in my opinion to have a direct like to this section from the main backend menu.

Thoughts?

Seanie.

This post will give you an idea on how to add shortcuts to the Bakery backend at the admin home page:

Please not this is not tested for the current version of WB and the templates might have changed, but it points you in the right direction.

That's pretty cool, and as you said should point me in the right direction, I will try it out (seems quite easy to implement and test, even for the newer version). I'll report back what I have found (IF it wors!).
