Title: bs_verflox template - doesn't like hidden pages?
Post by: seanie_morris on August 07, 2015, 03:09:07 PM
Using the bs_verflox template, downloaded from http://WebsiteBaker.at/wb-templates and I have found out that it doesn't like hidden pages! When I am in the WB admin backend and create any page that is hidden, add content, then click on the View button, the page is blank in the bs_verflox live view. What do I need to do to fix this?

Thanks,

Seanie.

Yes, of course.

bs_verflox is a single-page template. It collects all pages on ONE page.
If you click the view-button, you will see this page isolatet from the others, but in exactly the way, the template would show it on the Start-Page. if its hidden, it has no content ;-)

You will have problems, forcing a single-page Template to show multiple pages. It will work, but this can have strange effects.

Ah, I see. I just assumed that a hidden page would appear on its own, but use the same template. :) I guess I can create sub sets of pages for e.g. terms, privacy, purchase confirmation, and so on and link them with some <a href> html code to each other.

I think, you will have to use another template for "hidden" pages, to make them visible.

I probably will have to, fisch.

Also, another quirk about this template is links within content to other pages. When clicked, they just reload the website (still as a single page) instead of scrolling to that page's section. Just thought I'd share that fault.
