Hi everyone.
this has nothing to do with WebsiteBaker (although I am running it) just to start.
I'm sure you all heard of Alex Tew? If not, he was the student who launched the "Million Dollar Homepage" back in august 2005. Anyway, I have since started the same kind of site selling pixel adverts. Mine however, has a twist..
I am donating $150,000(US) to charities after sales. This has been split to $50,000(US) to a designated charity and the other $100,000(US) to a charity voted for by the people who purchase advertising space. Yes i know i am making money for myself too but there is also a depth to that as well.
A few years back in the UK, foot and mouth hit us very hard, especially where i live. My parents had a successful company back then but due to the nature of our business many people cut our contracts :(. I am doing this to help my parents rescue our downward business.
If you could i would appreciate you all to visit http://www.themillionairepage.net and pass the link on to as many people as you know. It would be great if companies heard about the site too and even eventually purchased some space on there.
remember, this is for charity as much as for aid to a family.
