Title: Foundation 5 template for WebsiteBaker
Post by: nibz on May 08, 2014, 06:16:48 PM
Hi Guys and Girls ;).

I am in the process of making a template for WebsiteBaker based on the awesome responsive Foundation framework by Zurb.

Live preview: http://nibz.nl/284/

If there are any tips and/or suggestions you are welcome to post them here.
Notice that the template is in development so changes are made constantly.

Attatched a screenshot

Regards Robin

Hello Nibz,

it looks nice.

Iźve never worked with Foundation, but I like where this is going.

Kind regards,
Stefek

Zurb Foundation 5 documentation can be found here: http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/
And my template will be free and you can use/abuse it just like you want.

Great idea!

Lets see...Yes ...

Add the CSS for at least the most useful modules as static CSS because formating for most modules is more or less ugly .

A multilevel dropdown would be nice.

Maybe you should check CK-Editor module , to add CK compatible editor.css and .js.
As sooner or later we will change to CK. (many already changed to CK )

You schould add a premade photoshop mask for the fadeout effect of the slider images , so its easy to make images that fit exactly (maybe even a mask for Gimp).

You ever tested premade joomla or WP Templates from template monster ?
They always have a full CMS whith all necessary modules and the template packaged into their packs.
So its just a no brainer , just unzip, install , ready , no need to add anything.
But maybe thats overkill  :-D

Planning to do so.

Allready in there but since i now only have one page you can't see it. But i will add more pages.

Allready made some. But planning to make more! I really hope we make the switch. CK is in my opinion far better then FCK.

Allready made one for photoshop. But good tip to make one for the gimp as well.
At first i tried to make a css layer. But that din't really work (responsive wasn't as nice).

I know they are. But that would be a overkill. But i'm aimong at a template that is as ready as could be as possible.
So even for people who know less about programming it should atleast work.
I also thought of making a module with a template options panel. But i don't know if i'll be able to do so, because my knowlage of php isn't so good.

Thanks for your good comment.

Regards. Robin
