Title: New company website
Post by: Ruud on November 16, 2011, 04:55:37 PM
Yesterday I launched a new company website.

www.dev4me.nl

It is hard to see it is WebsiteBaker, but it really is.
It has some nice tricks built in. Especially the language switch is a bit different.

Yep, nice huh?

Both languages are in the output. The switch is done with jQuery.

without enabled javascript you can see nothing of the site. this is hard.

with javascript it looks very nice.

You should see a message telling you that js should be enabled.

It's a choice. With javascript disabled the "internet world" becomes very small.  :-)

Hi Ruud,

very nice, especially the menu.  :-)

With javascript disabled the "internet world" becomes very small.  :-)

That 's true! But what about searchengines and people with handicaps?

Best regards

Searchengines will see all. The content is all there.

Tabbing trough the menu and footer items is also no problem.
So even visual impaired webdesigners can browse the site.

Nice idea, I am thinking about implementing such a thing into bakery so you do not have to have multiple shoppages that will mess up the stock admin.

i got the idea from Zen cart (juchblehbah!!) that has something like this too

I never thought about doing this with normal pages / a complete website, interesting!
