Hi,
I came up to idea to have a different admin tool icons on admin tool dashboard instead default admintools.png
for example, if admin tool name is droplets, to put droplets.png image in modules/droplets folder and then if file exists (for backward compatibility) show this picture, else: show default admintools.png
it will make a WB a bit more colorful :)) What do you think... ??

In WB2.9 this is already implemented.
if a file "tool_icon.png" exists in the admintool module dir that one will be used.
-
cool, but still not for 2.8.2 :(((

Hello Ivan,
I am creating a new admin template and it will have the icons loaded from within the admin_tool_director y/tool_icon.png if it exists.
With a fallback to a standard Icon if there is none in the directory.
Kind regards,
Stefek

cool mate,
is it going to be for 2.8.2 and 2.9 ?
-
Actually it's for the 2.8.2 version as 2.9.x seems to have an own mechanism for this (PHP based).
I can send you an alpha version of my backend theme if you like.
