Title: Comic Sans
Post by: Xagone on April 18, 2011, 05:22:00 PM
I love WB, and it's easy for my clients, but my clients are not experts in webdesign and soon put Comic Sans all over the place...

So from now on i've removed "Comic Sans" from the font list in /modules/fckeditor/wb_config/wb_fckconfig.js (line 151)

feeling better already ;)

I remove the complete font (and color) selection for most customers.
Most of them understand it is bad to have a website with 5 different styles on 10 pages.

If something special is needed I add a class in the stylesheet (and the editor.css) so they can format a little bit.

100% agree  8-)
.. and with the font sizes also. I define small(0.85em), normal and the same sizes like h1-h6 only.

I normally define all css aspect (using some code like http://www.votreespace.net/wbdemo/ )

so all is pre-defined, but they keep putting Comic Sans when you are not looking.

We Garantie great designs, passover the admin to the clients. Put this design in our "portfolio", but when somebody go see the site, they see bad design with big bag BOLD Comic Sans with red background!

I change that to be shure that my clients do not destroy my reputation!

i understand.
but if the client wish comic sans and pay for realization in headlines, i do it.
in this case is css not the right way. every visitor should see the font.

I eliminate the finish typeface choice for most clients. Most of them comprehend it is bad to have a web page with 5 different designs on 10 web pages.
