Title: Bakery duplicat
Post by: Brumm on March 30, 2011, 09:30:57 PM
Hi there, I have been setting up my Webshop with bakery and I have a question.

If I understand the "Know how" of moving adn duplication at http://www.bakery-shop.ch/#move_item correctly,
I can put one item in several pages but have it as "one" ie if i change one of them, i change them all.
For me this is not working,  andy changes i make are made only to the one on that specific page, the others which I have duplicated to other pages are not changed.
This means also that the Stock count is different for the different pages.

Is thera way to have 1 item presented on different pages and have it behave as one item, that means that if I change one of them, all of them should change, including the stock count..

Hello,

I must miss this one.

It seems to me, that you have misunderstood the duplication functionality of this module.
You are duplicating the Item once, but it is since than hadled as a unique Item with its own ID Number.
There is no further connection to the original product (where you're duplicatint from).

The functionality you're looking for is not implemented into Bakery.

Kind regards,
Stefek

Hello,
this is possible, but it's not an easy task.
You will need some Database changes and some hours of programming.

I don't know if there is someone who will make it for free.  :|

Kind regards,
Stefek
