Title: Is there any way to make the superfish menu do this kinda thing?
Post by: sparkdigital on March 04, 2011, 02:25:03 PM
Hi,

I'm looking to create a drop down menu like these:
I'd like to be able to have nested menus in here, so level 1 would be the tab at the top, level 2 would be in bold and level 3 the lowest level link.

Could the Superfish plugin be configured to do this sort of thing? And would there be any way in organizing the links from within the admin panel in a menu like this?

Thanks,

Konrad

Hi,

Here is my hint: for example to have assign a specific id to each menu item in first level (for example that could be menu 1), and then to create JQ code that when you hover on specific item id, to togle div with content menu 2, 3, 4 floated left..

You dont need superfish menu for that..

cheers

This is called a "super menu" or "mega menu". Search on the web for this in combination with jquery, and you will find interesting info. For a few bucks you can even buy a fully working script at http://codecanyon.net/item/mega-menu-complete-set/152825 (I bought it for a non-WB site some time ago, very good quality script). A great starting point for implementing into WB.
