Title: Translate the shop into Swedish
Post by: onelund on July 31, 2010, 10:23:34 AM
Might be a stupid question but i wonder if its enough to copy ex the US lang files stored in languages container into swedish and then enjoy my own swedish version of the shop?

Only if you translate the content into Swedish first ... and don't forget the other files in that folder. And I think it would also be a nice move to make the updated files available to the community ;-)

cheers

Hi Onelund

There has been a Swedish language file in the forum about one year ago («Reply #487 on: 04 August 2009, 12:20:09»):
https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php?topic=7834.msg93526#msg93526

I suppose it was translated based on Bakery v1.4.0 so it will not be really up-to-date but a good starting point for further translation.

To get a complete and up-to-date list of language terms copy the EN.php files and rename them to SE.php before translating. Please also see the translators note included on top of the language file.

Find language files at:
/bakery/languages/
/bakery/languages/states/
/bakery/languages/countries/

...and each payment method has its own language files at:
/bakery/payment_methods/[name_of_payment_method]/languages/
