Title: Bakery as a Listings System?

Hello,

I was wondering if Bakery could be used for a listings program for Planes, Trains or Automobiles. Or even real estate listings. I'd like to take out the add to cart and checkout stuff and maybe add a request info form that will request info on particular listings. Maybe the add to cart button can accumulate the list of items that the viewer wants information on.

Will Bakery use the templates that I already have installed in WebsiteBaker or do I have to install the templates again?

Hi Fisherman

There is another, commercial module called «Showcase» that is intended to generate a showcase or listings.

Besides of name, short description and description (WYSIWYG) you can add up to 15 free definable fields in the general settings of the module that will be used to display a wide range of customized item details. Furthermore you can upload unlimited images per item, resize them and generate thumbs just at one click. The images can be displayed using the lightbox2 effect. The modul templates are fully customizable in the module backend and use CSS classes for complete control over your design. Normally the WebsiteBaker template has not to be adapted.
