Hi Bakers,
My own website, www.desse.nl (http://www.desse.nl), is an ongoing process, so now i decided to change the black background to a dark wood pattern. Me, i'm satisfied with the result, but what do you think?
All the websites in my portfolio are made using WB.

If you plan a redesigning , I thing, you sometimes look at the old page, use the css from it or something else. Often you make mistakes then (I do so). Starting with new ideas and blank paper for css and template is the best to don't have unused classes or forget classes.

Your logo has different visual dimensions than the real dimensions of the file. That causes ugly distortions in Internet Explorer. Just place the following line at the top of your stylesheet, to let IE resize pictures better:
img { -ms-interpolation-mode:bicubic; }

Hi Tyronne, well done on your design. I really like your logo and the contrast between thsi and the background works well. All you have to do now is add more pages with a little more content (although I agree that usually 'more is less' but even if you did it for the search engines then that would be useful!). Will you use the left hand column for your naviagtion? I think that would work well.
I would also try playing around with a footer that is the full width of the screen containing your contact info etc when you have a few more pages. This should then connect the content of your page to the actual window because at the moment it's floating in space.
And a final really finicky final thing: try to keep the thumbs for the lightbox the same size - this makes it look much more designed (muggenzifterij!).
Well done!
