Title: Removing menu from splash screen
Post by: Bryony84 on May 12, 2008, 04:53:23 PM
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to wb and this is my first post on here so be gentle.

I am building a website which has 2 main sites: a home customer and a business customer site. I have worked out how to structure the pages so that both the business and home sites show the correct menus but it has left the first 'splash screen' with a 'Main Menu' title in the corner. There are no links under if so I was wondering if there is a way to change the index/php file so that it does not display it.

Ps: The links from the splash screen are in the form of 2 large graphics which is why I don't need a menu at all on this page.

Thanks for any help

You can use a different template for each page in WB.
Just create a special template (without the show_menu) and select that for your "splash" page.

Cheers,

Ruud
