Title: New template: Vincent03
Post by: Vincent on February 20, 2008, 11:16:48 PM
Another one for you, made by me.

Enjoy,

Vincent

Edit:
Apparently I zipped the file the wrong way. :| Sorry. Anyway, now it's OK, and can be downloaded on http://addons.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/lorem-ipsum.php?template=vincent03.

hi vincent. i was unable to install your template. looking at the zip file, it came to my mind that you structured the template inside the zip in a folder, which i thought should be avoided...

Vincent,
This is a nice template! I really like the print page icon. All printed pages rendered nicely except for some pages that used a inline frame, that's no fault of yours.

My only preference would be for the menus. I normally prefer flyout menus for displaying submenus instead of having to clicking on them first to see the submenus. Is this possible here?

Great job!
Brent

Good work, Vincent! Appears clear and tidy with a harmonious and unobstrusive color matching. I really like it. :-)

@frankyboy: no, it has no folder structure, all files are stored in one folder. Please try again, and let me know if it still doesn't work.

@brent: please feel free to modify the css to your needs. What you may like is the goto_first_sibling-snippet, which shows not the contnt of the clicked menu item, but goes directly to the first sibling. https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,8149.0.html
Probably not exactly what you were looking for but who knows.

@Netzperlentaucher: thanks for your compliments. Glad you like it.

Vincent

@Vincent: Can we put your template on the WB Addons site? What about license?

Hi doc,

Certainly, t was meant to end up on the addons site. It is licenced under Creative Common, if that's OK.

Hello Vincent,

sure it is up to you to define the license you want to use. Will test your template now. May take somewhat till I find the time to upload it, but nicely baked.

Thanks for your contribution to WB

Title: Vincent03 released on Addons repostiory
Post by: doc on February 26, 2008, 09:56:24 PM
Hello Vincent,

your attached template is wrong zipped. You need to zip only the files contained in /templates/vincent3 without the folder /vincent3. It is not possible to install your template via the WB backend, as all files inside the ZIP are located in the folder /vincent3.

However, just added your template for download on the WB addons repository (http://addons.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/lorem-ipsum.php?template=vincent03).

Can you please remove the zip file from your first post?

Thanks for your nice contribution, like it.
Regards Christian

P.S.: By the way where is Vincent01? It is not on the Addons page is this correct?

Oops, Christian, very silly. So frankyboy was right.
I replaced the file. Thanks for pointing it out,

Vincent

Nice job, Vincent, goed gedaan!

Might use this one in the future - I like the very easy to understand sub navigation.

Thanks!
