Title: Bakery Module VAT field not allowing removal

I have a very simple Bakery store that I want to remove the VAT field from, but when I uncheck the Show VAT field and save it, the check box just comes back on again.  Can someone tell me how I can remove this field since it is not needed?

Just FYI, for those looking, you have to uncheck both VAT field boxes on the same General Settings page.  If you don't do both, they will come right back on again.
