Title: Templates Not Installing...
Post by: hancman on June 23, 2009, 05:34:41 PM
Hi there,
For some reason when i try to install templates on one of my website baker sites, after i browse and select the zip file and then click install, i never get any message back indicating success or failure (i.e., nothing installs).

Any ideas what may be going on?

Thanks ahead of time.

You can set the error reporting within Website bakers advanced options ... then try again please and post the error.

If still no error is shown, please check the servers errorlog for them.

cheers

Hi Klaus,

Thanks for replying.

I did go into preferences and change the PHP Error Reporting Level to E_ALL, but nothing was reported on the page once i clicked the install template button i.e., as prior to setting the level the page just sorta goes blank.

I will check the servers errorlog to see if there is anything there.

Cheers!

You can always overwrite an existing one.

Hello,
I have a fix for this. If you have php_safe_mode on, turn it off, because that is what I thought it might be, and its working. :-)

Hi There Kab,
I have my PHP_Safe_Mode set to what ever the installation guidelines say it should be. All of my other 13 sites are set exactly the same way. So i'm not sure why this should make a difference.

I can definitely give it a try, but if you have more insights i would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Mike..
