Title: Need Way to Only Allow Dropdown Menu Item Pages to Display vs. Main Menu Item
Post by: hancman on May 21, 2009, 11:29:36 PM
Hi,
Is there a way to allow a main menu not to display a page, while allowing its dropdown menu items to do so?

I'm sure there is a simple answer to this but i have not found it in the WB documentation.

Here is a site that i am working on that will provide you with an example of what i mean... The products item on the main menu has two submenu items, goodiesbylisa, and gift certificates. i only want the dropdown menu items to direct one to a page vs. having to create content for a page called products.

The link is http://www.agourmetaway.com/wb

Thanks for you help ahead of time.

Mike..

Easiest solution comming to my mind now is hadrcoding it. If you choose MenuLink as page type, you will automatically be redirected to the chosen page.

cheers

Hi Claus,
Thanks for the reply. I'll take a look at that approach.

I know that this might be a little late, but you can link the Products to default to the first page in the dropdown.
