Title: Do templates have their own admin
Post by: julesdick on March 16, 2009, 05:16:49 PM
Nice software! I was looking for something like Bigcartel but with no shop. WebsiteBaker looks like more than I hoped for.

I have installed, read through all the Basic Docu, downloaded a lovely template 'Multiflex-3', and successfully got that working.

If i use a template like this one, or others with side bars etc, is there an admin page to edit the content of the sidebars, or should I be able to edit them through Admin > pages somehow? Is this described in any WB documentation?

Many thanks,

JD

What you are looking for is the content blocks (http://help.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/en/advanced-docu/designer-guide/content-blocks.php) part.

This way you can create content on different parts in your site for every page created.
Combining this with modules like section picker (http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/modules/listings/section-pages/section-picker.php) or the ShowSection (http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/droplets/official-library/content/showsection.php) Droplet you can re-use content on multiple pages too.
