Hi,
I´m new. Is there a possibility to show one page under diffent menu items without creating the site twice?
Thanks for support,
S.

Hello,
yes, you can use the "menu-link". First create the page you wanna show. Then add "pages" with typ "menu-link" wich point to this page. This way you have different menu items wich point to the same page.

Hello,
another way is to use the Module section picker (http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/modules/listings/section-pages/section-picker.php).

section picker duplicates sections, so in the end you have different copies from the original page. So you have the site twice. And changings on the original you have also to do then on the copies. I think sebigbos did only want to maintain one page wich is reachable from different menu items.

@Matthias
with section picker your are creating the page as twice as per menu link.
You don't have to modify the page with section picker, but only the original.

Section picker only creates internal relations. The original page/section is allways displayed.
Modifying the "mother" section will change all pages that are displayed through section picker.

wow, great support, thanks. I tried the "menu item". It works, but not exactly like it should.
We speak about a site for lokal music teachers. So i have, for example: wind instruments/brass/trumpet/teacher x. And i want to get teacher x also on wind instruments/brass/trombone/teacher x.
No I got the following: If i pick teacher x on trombone, the menu switches back to trumpet.
Any solution or do i have to try the section picker thing? Which sounds more complicated....:)

The section picker is even more simple as the menu_link.
And you are able to put more than one section on a new page.
Try it and if you don't like it, deinstall the module and you are done.
See the image on the link in my post above.

Never had that before :?
Did you change anything on the original page? (you shouldn't have)
Reading your explanation on what you want to do I would suggest to do it like this:
Create hidden pages /teachers/teacherA & /teachers/teacherB etc.. These will be used as a library of teachers.
For the page /wind instruments/brass/trumpet/teacher you use the sectionpicker (no wysiwyg) and point it to /teachers/teacherA section:wysiwyg.
Do the same on the page /wind instruments/brass/trombone/teacher
That should do exactly what you want.

No problem.
Have you seen the list of existing modules? You can't fully test and know them all.

I deleted both sites, the original one and the mirrored one and tried it again. No it works great, exactly what I need.
In my first trial I tried to give the new mirrored site the same page name as the original one. This didn´t work and I had to use another name but maybe this caused the problem. No I use a different page name but the same menu name.
Problem solved, Thanks a lot,
S.
