Hello,
would have a look on the markup (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.erdwaerme-firmen.de%2F). The current template shows about 66 error.

And there are some troubles with IE6
-
Well, the markup is just because of the images.
Usually don't care.
The problems with IE6 are only 1 problem, and this is a nasty bug of IE6, no other browser has this.
(even IE 5.5 shows the site correct, and i am not willing to change this...)
Also, who cares about IE6? If you still use it, send me a mail, and i'll send you some xploits for IE6.
Anyway, it is just a glitch on the side, which can be ignored.

Seems you do care about valid markup (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.erdwaerme-firmen.de%2F) as you have corrected the stuff :-)

30% or 40% of all users have IE6.
This is NOT a minor problem. If you have troubles with the Double-Margin Bug: use display:inline

Well...
I did it, because it was a thing of 5 seconds
OF COURSE, I CARE about usability :-D
Was a typo in my code.
And to chio:
sorry, seems you don't know what you are writing about.
As you know, if you use Microsoft Update, there is NO WAY about upgrading to IE7.
And for your saying...
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp (http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp)
(so, 28% and falling; also my logfiles say, that most are using FF and IE7...)
Better do some research first :-P

Oh, I know what I'm writing about, I have Google Analytics on more than 40 sites, with over 12000 visits per day (all together)
It depends on the topic of a website. Sites about 'webdesign' have over 60% FF and 20% IE6, sites about 'tents', (for example) or 'knitting' have 10% FF and 50% IE6.
This (your) site is definitly NOT about webdesign, so there will be 28% to 40% (theres is not much difference between 28% an 30%, by the way)
There are lots of people who have Microsoft Updates turned OFF, maybe because they have no licenced OS, or dont trust in Microsoft anyway. My "breakfast-computer" for example. And there are still lots of Win2k computers in offices, where IE7 doesnt run.
If you cant make a website that runs on IE6, you cant make a website at all. Its simple.

:-D ha ha, for one glitch...
(nevertheless, it would be a thing for 5 minutes, maybe 10...)
Yes, you are professional
