Title: amsterdam excursions
Post by: Vincent on March 22, 2008, 04:33:48 PM
Hi fellow bakers,

A couple of days ago I released this one: www.amsterdamexcurs ies.nl, actually it is a complete redesign of a site I did before. The customer is happy, hope you also like it...

Regards,

Vincent

Hi,

Nice site. But in the item "Nieuws", all the topics are red and the hoovercolor is yellow.
Yellow on a white background is'nt a good choice... I think...
But, the site is very good. Witch template did you use?

Groetjes van een Zuiderbuur,

Thanks for your comments, guys.

@Luc: you're right about the hoover color. Thanks, 'll change it.
The template is custom made.

@ Grid: I used another image gallery, tweeked by baZzz (https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,3855.msg25865.html#msg25865).

Hi Vincent,

Very good looking. Simple navigation. It is good to see more and more Dutch sites being built upon the WebsiteBaker CMS.

regards,
Erik

En deze speciaal in het Nederlands: moeten we daarom niet eens denken aan een Nederlands forum hier?

I wrote above in Dutch: Can we have a Dutch Forum?

Not a good idea, Luc, to start a Dutch forum. Even though we aren't native speakers, we all speak and write english sufficiently to be able to participate in the international forum. Now at least we won't miss any topics, and everybody can benefit of things we discuss and of solutions we find.

Groetjes,

Vincent

Yes, I understand and yes, I think you're right.

Look at the German forum. There is a lot of valuable information in this section. You can even download modules which aren't available in the English forum. Something I find regrettable  :-(
I go skiing in Austria for years but still my German is not so good
Fortunately, there is such a thing as Google Translation.
