Title: The third one that's been online for a while
Post by: sparkdigital on August 08, 2007, 12:47:37 PM
I wish I'd done some more homework on how to do submenus - I created a template for each main page with rollover images for each subpage - that was so time consuming so if I had to do it all over I would definately create one template with a nice submenu using plain text links.

Ah well, you live and learn, eh?

I like how the menus turned out overall, but I think you could get the same effect using CSS versus image swapping....

that might help prevent any lag in loading of images.

Hi Panther - yes, you're right. This was in the days when I hadn't fully discovered CSS yet. I'm now at the stage where I'm more comfortable with it although I'm still learning a lot about css positioning (I can't help but thinking tables were a lot more straightforward when it came to layout...)
