Post by: Linger on March 30, 2008, 09:51:52 PM
Many thanks to the WebsiteBaker-developer-team and the community for providing this really great CMS. Have a look at my second website based on WebsiteBaker: http://www.andreherdling.de (http://www.andreherdling.de)

Hello,

congratulations, your site looks very professional. Wouls you mind to share your template with the community (maybe after removing some of your images etc.).

I think menu should be done on <a style="display: block; width: 100px... Then we will not have to hover on text to use menu items.

Thanks for congratulations and suggestions! I will try to create a none-personalized version of the template. Unfortunately it will last a few weeks becaus of my rare spare time.

In most cases i would agree to doc's suggestion of adding a block-style to the menue items. But im my case there are no colored bars that indicates "i am a button" - therefore an activation of menue-items while mouse pointer is still outside the text looks a little bit strange. In my opinion. I think clicking on a text in order to get a reaction is not unusual on webpages - but maybe i shoud over-sleep that...

Again, thanks a lot!

Man, even I do not understand any piece of German, I cannot deny the beauty of your website. It makes a lot of good use of: colors, shading, and I really like the way you handle text and white space.

Great job buddy!

Joup. I use IE7.
And I will never see your wonderful site.

Thanks for that information! The script that divides the user-agents into "supported" and "unsupportet" should only reject IE 6 and older versions (i am soooo sad of css-hacks). I've tested the script on my windows-pc using different IE-versions and it works fine...  Therefore I am a little bit confused about the reported behaviour. I will have a look at the script again. Sorry for that circumstances!
I love your Website and wrote an article about your great simplehead()-Snippet (referencing to your site, of course). I hope thats ok for you - if not, please contact me.

Again, thanks a lot for the comments!!
