Title: Responsive Admin
Post by: N1kko on November 03, 2013, 03:53:16 PM
Hi Everyone,

I am pleased to announce Responsive Admin for WB. I have been working on this for the last few weeks or so in my spare time. Still a few improvements to add which will be done soon as I will keep updating this as much as possible.

Some modules work out of the box and some need some tweaking. I will get round to working on modules soon.

A couple of files need to replaced as they are not currently part of the admin template system, these files are included in the download and are as follows:

modules/droplets/modify_droplet.php
admin/pages/index.php
admin/pages/intro.php
admin/pages/modify.php

I really hope this can become a big part of WB as I'm happy to dedicate my spare time towards it, I will work on most popular modules such as news, bakery and maybe an image gallery... Anyway download is below so install and enjoy editing your WB site from mobile or tablet :D

Demo will be online soon

Please let me know if you find any errors etc so I can get them fixed.

Found a small error in settings.htt
If you have already installed just download settings.htt.zip below and replace inside the templates folder.

templates/responsive-admin/templates/settings.htt

Good work!

How can we make wb into so that the admin editor allows customer to add the bootstrap divs like .col-sm6 col-md2 ... without all of them having separate wysiwyg-editors and save-button ???

Now if i make the divs and press enter at the bottom of the div, it duplicates the div and don't make new paragraph so it's impossible to use wb to administrate a responsive site

I guess it would have to be done with CKeditor in some way so you can choose a div to insert.
You can still manage a responsive site with this just the same as you can with the original WB admin theme.

A pity that it's not picked up by the major users. Great addition to WB.

Thank you for your time creating and sharing.

I will ask if this could be a feauture on the next versions.

Regards,

Boudi

Hi,

Just installed your responsive admin template on a new 2.83 latest revision to ensure this addon could be picked up in the addon section. But there's an error when entering the admin/pages

Mac OS X 2=oATTRoȧÈa%com.apple.metadata:kMDItemWhereFroms)Fcom.apple.quarantinebplist00¡_2ftp://n1kko.com//public_html/admin/pages/index.php ?q/0001;5279236e;Google\x20Chrome;3D4DE829-FADD-4770-BBD7-3E56278243D3

How to solve?

Ho Boudi,

I have just re-installed the latest WB then the responsive admin template, No problems in admin/pages for me.
Did you replace the files in admin/pages with the ones from the responsive admin download?

Got it. The first time that I unzipped your package all the php files were called

._index.php

Watch the red parts. Strange behaviour. I decided to change the filenames in order to delete the red parts. After that I uploaded the files resulting in this error.

I unzipped the package again and now this strange markings are gone. Uploaded the file and now it's working.

Problem solved. But....I found a bug:

When checking the admin/pages section I see green + marking for parent pages. Underneath you see the childs. That's not good. because then the green + marking is visible you cannot see the childs.
