Title: Code editor Problem
Post by: thebigman on August 21, 2008, 05:38:59 PM
I wonder if anyone can help.  I have downloaded the intro.php file and a couple of the others and edited them using sharepoint and even tried dreamweaver but after i have saved them i am not allowed to upload them back to my server permission denied.  Anyone any ideas or suggest a better editor etc.
Thanks  :-(

Which "intro.php" you mean?
What reason do you had to work on it on the editor?

I was editing the intro in dreamweaver to set it out better.

Again: which intro.php
Do you mean that you try to use the intro page and that you want to recreate it with a editor and upload back to your server?

All right than.

So you should know, that your Templates and files which you uploaded via the WB Backend, can't be overwritten via FTP.
You will find more about it here:
http://help.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/en/knowledge-base/files-and-permissions.php
(ownership).

There are some modules (or so called admin tools) which help you to rewrite from inside the WB Backend.
https://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php/topic,10501.0.html

And another Modules will help you to rework the templates, modules and so on.
