Post by: Stefek on January 14, 2008, 02:21:26 AM
Hello Folks,

here is my brand new update for a Bowling ProShop Site. It's a german one, but you may have a look on it.

www.pro-bowl24.de

I'm very thankfull for every single post on this forums which contributed to my efforts to get this job done.

Quite impressive, very stylish.

You might want to include a map somewhere.

One thought: all the Flash on the front page made a lot of downloading, plus it's all moving - makes it a little hard to concentrate on any one thing.

Really nice indeed. There is a lot moving on the home-page, but I think not TOO much, and fortunately there's not much moving on the other pages.

Two details:
Partnerlinks: The logos are on the upper right hand side of their boxes. Looks as if there was something missing. Maybe center them? Or add text (addresses, info) to the boxes?
Kunden-Echo: The menu bar disappears. The three icons on top (Kontakt, Sitemap, Impressum) as well. Why is that?

The sitemap looks pretty. How did you do that?

Cheers,
Ralf.

As nice as the page is, I (and lots of people I know) would be put off by the loading time ... ;-)

You`re rright, some text is missing yet.

I had some problems with the guestbook-mod and decided to handle with an another script temporarily. I'll handle it, as Matthias (Ruebenwurzel) sugested the guestbook mod is more secure in the newer versions.

The sitemap looks pretty. How did you do that?
I used the sitemap mod. The look is controlled by CSS.

@ DGEC, lausianne
I think it depends on the point of view.
I don't really like to use flash for webdesign. Has been a wish of the customer.

@Kweitzel
You're right, I know. Will reduce the loading time as next.

Thank you people!
Stefek
