I was kinda kidding... Germany and The Netherlands are friendly states, and most Dutchmen and Germans get along fine, but it's a bit delicate to compare Dutchies with Germans. Apart from the normal nationalistic feelings that people have, there is still a legacy from the war. It's only 65 years ago that we were at war and there are still many people left that remember it in person and are affected by it. Every year in May we remember the casualties and the liberation by the allied troops. Anyway, this is all in the past and doesn't get in the way of the fact that most Dutch people have absolutely nothing against current day Germans or Germany. Most Dutch and German people are born after the war anyway, so why would they? And I think most Germans are sick and tired about being reminded of that period in their history. But there is just still a remnant in not wanting to be called "typical German" by foreigners that confuse The Netherlands with Germany (maybe because "Dutch" sounds like "Deutsch" which is German for "German"?). But be assured, all this is not to be taken that seriously  :-D

Man, I did not mean that, I mean the art. It's reminds me of Bauhaus movement that focuses into function that the "beauty" of a design/artwork.

Like I'm a Vietnamese, but if someone tells me: your work looks kinda German. I'm happy cuz I love the strong, clear, bold style of German design. Think about ADIDAS vs NIKE (Man I love Adidas :D )
