HI there grid8400.
I like your designs, but i find it strange that you have forgoten to mention WB in any of your pages,
think it would be in place to at least mention WB in the same string
as you mentions that you are the designer?
Just a thaugth...... :?

Hi Oeh..
You mean in the source of the template as a comment?
Or do you mean as a footer in the page itself. (because thats not gonna happen :)
I think you are right to add a line of comment in the source that WB is the generator...
On the otherhand what would be the goal of it? How many people will actually view the source?
It already has the: WebsiteBaker is released under the GNU General Public License link in the backend, and that has to stay intact to give WB all the credit for the CMS.
Anyways, i will add a comment in de index.php about WB beeing the generator :)

Not being required to have the "powered by..." on the template is one of the best things about WB.
I like giving credit where I can, but some sites it just isn't appropriate. Others, like most of my personal sites I include info in an "about this site" sort of page. Those that really want to know will find it.. those that don't care... they won't notice it no matter where you put it.

Hi there grid8400.
I had a look at one of the pages, and saw that the line of WB being the generator,
below the line stating you being the designer. :-) ;-) Great.

Why not, it does not hurt, do it.
Most of the people who is designing sites, is putting a statement in the top of the code,
stating who the designer is!
Any how, I as many, are looking at the page code, tips and tricks you know.
Regards
OEH

I'm not saying it hurts, and I usually do so when I have the option.... but I have also done sites where part of my contract even prevents me from putting a "designed by..." link on the pages.
It comes down to doing what the client wants... and the fact that WB doesn't require such language makes it the best option for those who do not want such links on their site.
