Why Why Why...
« on: September 05, 2006, 07:56:21 PM »
I have been using WB for a while now, and its soooo easy to work with.  If anyone has worked with Joomla, or something similar you'll know how much of a ballache it is to completely redesign sites.  Because website baker is so lightweight (yet remaining powerful) it makes it very easy to modify... my random issue is since it is so easy to modify, why the hell arn't there loads of gorgeous website baker sites out there????

:D removed for peace :D

Of course there are the few exceptions, and I am not trying to be mean, I just cannot understand why there aren't nice wb sites out there :(

lovingly,
Craig :)

Hi Craig,

I was wondering if you could post the websites you have created with WebsiteBaker in the Website Showcase section. Your post reads like you have some experiences with webdesign so your website showcase would be highly appreciated.

Best regards
Christian

Hi Craig,

it is a bit of a psychological matter as well. If somebody just starts, you sound like somebody who would shoot with crap at those people just starting ... what about you? Didn@t you have to start somewhere as well? Did you have somebody as incouraging by your side like youself?

Think again about what you said there ... and maybe give some helpful advise instead of the s*** that comes out of your brain ... Never forget, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

cheers

I think it has all to do with the Templates.

For Joomla or Mambo there are a lot of Template builders arround because there's great demand for Templates.
Any Template can be adjusted for another site and is re-usable.

For WB I know a few builders, but when you look at the price a Template cost......

but there are enough freeware templates around ... please, do convert. It is easy! Come to that, it is even easy to let your own imagination run and create one youself ... and it is a great way to give something back to the community and WebsiteBaker.

cheers
