Vlob:
Is there any reason why the official website baker website is so crappy in so many ways.

How can it be that the best cms one can find has such a poor, unprofessional website? Or is this on purpose and is the staff holding on to some sort of nostalgic layout?

dbs:
You mean https://WebsiteBaker.org ?
Do you want create a new one?

crnogorac081:
Im working on it but dont have much time at this point

DBS: that feels a bit like you take it as an insult. That was never my intention. I was just surprised that with a cms like Website baker and the -in my opinion- skilled people here the website does not show any quality.

If you look at Website Baker as a whole the website tears it down. If a new of searching webdeveloper finds the website he will most likely pass before trying and that is such a shame because Website Baker outclasses the vast majority of CMS-systems on this planet.

So that said, to answer you question: yes I do, or at least help out together with you, Crnogorac and the other top-level contributors here. I haven't been too active for a few years but am ready for the future and in need of a first class system with a first class look and feel.

Crnogorac: great to hear that, I would like to offer my skills, opinions and experience to both help and suggest. Feel free to contact me and tell me more about the plans and situation

Meanwhile I am building an new backend theme (and while at it tearing down some of the dull layouts of the modules), made a preview-function for the wysiwyg-module and am now preparing for a landingspage module which provides in A/B testing but first thing on the list is expanding the possibillities of the newsmodule with a.o. extra fields, a photo-uploader and a photo gallery option.

A query for my understanding

Is it about the content or is it about the template used on all WebsiteBaker pages?
