Problem with Admin pages
« on: October 29, 2021, 03:07:03 PM »
I have a website running WB 2.12.2 r379 and php 7.3. I have just logged in as admin to make some changes. The log-in screen did not appear as I was expecting but works fine to log-in. I clicked through to the page I wanted but there was no editing text box displayed. There was a brief flash of a text box with no editing toolbar then nothing. None of the screens looked like they have previously, i could access all the sections from the main toolbar except that the Admin-Tools link was far smaller than previously.

Thinking about it, my conclusion is that it is a css problem as none of the screens look like they used to. Either the css file has been modified or is not being loaded. How can I check this? Where do I find the css file?

I have another site using exactly the same software versions on the same host and that is working fine.

Any suggestions welcome.

Can you post us an example?
Has the hoster changed something?
Why not on WB 2.13 with php7.4 or php8?

Be sure the admin address is the same as in config.php.
Means with or without https and www.

I haven't changed anything in cpanel or elsewhere. This was working last time I logged in.

I have now upgraded to WBv1.13.0 and the problem persists. I think I have narrowed it down to the CK Editor. If I set the editor to 'None' I can read the page contents in the textbox but, of course, this shows all the html tags. If I set the editor to be CK Editor there is no textbox. I have tried to look at the stylesheets using the Firefox Style Editor and there is an inline stylesheet showing 1 rule which reads - .cke {visibility:hidden;}. I'm don't know where this stylesheet is or whether this might be causing the problem.

I am now experiencing difficulty accessing sections of the Administration. As I have upgraded to v2.13.0 I should probably transfer my questions to that section of the forum.
