Download Gallery > redirect YouTube?

I was wondering if there was a way to 'trick' the download or Foldergallery module to accept a YouTube link? I see various download types (ie pdf, txt etc) and wondering if that could be used to add a link type to redirect to say https://www.youtube.com/embed/CRI6dCktY9s somehow?

I have a few videos hosted on YouTube an they are much better for sharing videos - the file is much slower when I upload to my server plus resource usage.

Foldergallery doesn't handle videos it seems but either place would be good to present the videos.

I am posting products, each has a Foldergallery for images and the MSDS as pdf's are all on the Downloads section. I didn't want to have another section for videos - makes for a messy customer experience if information for the same product is scatterd across multiple sections.

Any suggestions appreciated.
