Form settings in WB 2.12
« on: September 26, 2018, 02:01:29 PM »
Hello,

two months ago updated my website from wb 2.8.3 to wb 2.12.
In wb 2.8.3 there was an option in the form module where you could choose the sender of the form. In our case it was set to the "field e-mail address". So when you hit the reply button on a mail from the WebsiteBaker form you could immediately send a answer to the person who send the form.
In wb 2.12 i could not find this option. Is there something i doing wrong or is this normal? Is there another form module that has this option?

This is a translation by Google
If I understand correctly, a sent e-mail can be warned without request.
Version 2.12 has been provided with features for the European Data Protection Regulation. Therefore, in my opinion, this function has been removed.

Originaltext

There is a field to select a reply address (use Field: Email). And a field to assign a reply name.

In the email to the admin you will not see the email address from the field Email as sender, but if you click on reply, the correct email address from the field Email will be used.

In the options of the "Email Confirmation Users" i have the option to select "E-Mail reply to: Field: Email". I think that these are the options for a confirmation mail that automatically will be generated by WB.
In the options of "Email Settings" (the options for the mail you receive in your mailbox) there is only  a field "Display Name:" . There i would like the option "Field: Email", but it isn't there.

I wrote how it works.

Alternativ form modules are Miniform or mpForm (can be found in Add-on Repo).

I think i have to use the mpform. there i found the option i need.
In the form module i could only choose the reply address in the confirmation settings not in the email settings.
I don't know why but i think they have omitted this function in the form module.
Bellow you can find a picture where you can see the difference between the options I see in wb2.12 and the options in my old wb2.8.3.
