Mach mal ruhig den Platzhirsch hier. Es schadet dem Forum nicht.
Nur bei derartigen Kommentaren ist's dann leider nicht mehr lustig.

Ich bin mittlerweile (nach 'nem langen Studienurlaub) sowieso so gut wie draußen. Werde nur noch sporadisch auftauchen.

die htmls sind weg.

Ich hatte einen post von dir übersehen. Die Leerzeichen sind alle weg, auch in den Dateinamen (obwohl die alte smoothgallery mit dem alten wb da nicht gezickt hat) und ich habe die neue view.php drin. Macht keinen Unterschied.

- Vorschaubilder werden nicht gezeigt und wenn Option angeklickt, ist auch das Bild nicht zu sehen
- Bildverkleinerer geht nicht

Wenn Vorschaubilder und Bildverkleinerung deaktiviert sind, funktioniert alles,  also auch das Öffnen des Originalbildes per javascript. Wenn das mit dem Verkleinern des Bildes noch gehen würde, wäre das für mich schon eine sehr gure  Arbeitsversion.

Don't forget, it is a very old gallery and maybe unsecure.
There are alternatives like Foldergallery, miniGallery, miniSlider and so on.

yessss, but it´s a very cool module, the integration of the pictures via upload in a folder, the shrink function, the javascript open of the original and the slideshow. In some cases I use it even for a single picture, just because of the "open the original"-function, very cute.

And concerning me, the good old smoothgallery is running at least 20 times in different installations. This is a lot of work.

All is unsecure isn´t it? I use XP (o dear god no!!!!) and the last trojan I saw was 10 years ago. I used old php 5.6 since 3 days ago with wb 2.8.3 without any problem. Only once one of my sites were hacked and this happened a few days after I did my first wb installation, newest version of course. Old gear is safe.
