Reorganisation of WebsiteBaker-Forum
« on: April 19, 2015, 01:34:32 AM »

Concerning some 'hot' discussions in the german area of this forum, we have decide to reorganize the forum earlier as planned. This step already was scheduled some month ago. According to the board of WebsiteBaker.org.

During the last years the developing goes more and more into a german language only direction. Our goal now it is to increase the participation of all forum users, of all languages.
To reach this we moved all developing and general boards into the general english / international language area.

Also we established an english category "Help & Support". There you can find help and support... but no more development. The same we did with the german only category "Hilfe & Support".

Any public development inside the forum must be placed in the general category and must be written in english.
Any publishing of a new / rebuild Module must be done in the general category too.

With that new organisation we hope to supply all forum users with the newest information about WebsiteBaker and it's moduls/addons.

Why you stop to provide more languages like dutch, french and italy like before? Simply answer: it's too much work. ;-) Ok, to be honest, we are not able to maintain and moderate languages which we don't understand.
Why there's a german category in an international forum? It's a good question for a good, but longer answer.
For the future on request we plan to grant users the right using the name 'WebsiteBaker' to start a localized 'support & help' forum in their own language. For german language we do the same. But why an additional domain, an additional forum if already one exists? There is no need for all the additional time of maintenance.

If you miss an old board, so have a look into "General / Archive". There we moved all never needed Boards. All post are still available. Outdated commercial requests we have deleted.

Why create a new "Development 2.8.x" when there is already a same section "WebsiteBaker 2.8.x discussion"? The last forum is about "Discuss the WebsiteBaker 2.8.x core and its development". so exactly the same as the new, empty section.
