How to create submenu on main menu

Hello,

I installed the template on WebsiteBaker that I created from another html page. My question is about how to make submenu on main menu. For example, prior to installation, in html page the submenu worked and also selected menu seemed to be active (selected). But after installation of template on WebsiteBaker, the main menu works, but I can not create submenu and also selected menu doesn't seem to be active (highlighted). I used this this for menu: <?php show_menu(1); ?>.

Could you please help me out that I can solve this issue.  Thanks in advance.
