Is there a way I can bypass the overview page and go straight to the item detail page from a menu list?

A client wants to go straight to the individual product details from a drop down menu but it goes to an overview with just the one item and you have to click on the header or thumbnail to go to the detail page which is rather messy.

 I tried replacing the overview code on the Page Settings menu but the system didn't like it. Is there a way within the backend somewhere?

I think Bakery itself does not support it, but you could make a "Menulink" going directly to the detail page.

Why would you want to hide "Add to cart" if the price is zero? I would think this would be a useful option in case you want to have free items.
