Hi,

upon Stefek's request, I am building an ajax based snippet, and this is an announcement for it..

Current progress and demo is available on: http://www.ivan.milicevic.me/bakery.php

I would like to hear some comments :)

cheers

Hi Ivan

What does this snippet aim to do?
Could not find any ajax on the demo.

maybe you didnt notice or maybe you have javascript turned off?

it makes fly-out effect to cart div block and populates the cart without refresh... also deletes item without refresh from cart..

try adding some staff to basket..

cheers

Great effect! Thanks for implementing!

3 things I noticed:
If a customer re-adds an article to the mini-cart, the article in the cart disappears even it is still in the main cart. At the product's place there is a message displayed:
«This product is already added to your cart. You can change the quantity in the shopping cart.»
Whenever the customer adds the same product again, also the message is added again and again.

Calling Bakery for the first time on your site, there are already products added to the cart! If I delete the browser cookies and re-call Bakery, there are other products added... Very odd! Maybe you do not differentiate between your and other sessions? Use the order_id to do so.

And just one minute ago:
«Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 113»

Regards Christoph

Stefek:
Hello Ivan,

your progress is quite awesome - I had a go with it some month ago but I didnt't get anything.
So thank you very much for your help.

Keep on the good work!

Kind regards,
Stefek
