Terms and Conditions
By using this forum, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Content
You must not post, attach or link to any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, offensive, abusive, threatening, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racist, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International laws and regulations. You must not post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, p***, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and sollicitations are forbidden on this forum.
ONLY in the special, dedicated commercial forums, it is allowed to post commercial WebsiteBaker related offers and requests. Non-WB related offers and requests are NOT allowed in any board or forum.
You must not post just to increase your post count. Also, do not post the same discussion more than once. Duplicate threads are annoying for other community members, especially for those whose time is limited. Duplicate discussions will be deleted without notice.
Forum staff and owner(s), also known as moderators and administrator(s), cannot warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or the forum owner(s).
Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner(s) of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, so please understand that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries. The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.
Getting Help
If you require help in using this forum, please visit http://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php?action=help.
For WebsiteBaker help, please visit http://WebsiteBaker.org/en/help/help-project.php and also try searching the forum.
An advanced forum search is available here: http://forum.WebsiteBaker.org/index.php?action=search;advanced
If you still cannot find your answer, please post in a relevant forum board.
Please do not contact forum moderators and administrators directly through PM or e-mail for personal support! Their job is to administer the forum, not to help WebsiteBaker users with their problems.
Using The Correct Board
By now you should realise that we have several boards. Each board has its own name and description. Please be careful to always use the correct board when posting. Every day topics must be moved due to being posted in the wrong board, and this is both time-wasting and frustrating. We will not delete threads when they are in the wrong forum, however if you post excessiveley in the wrong board, you will be warned.
Please use English only in the general forums, and the approppriate language in the special country forums.
All forums beside the Off-Topic should only contain discussion about WebsiteBaker, its templates, its modules and so on.
We do not support questions not directly related to WebsiteBaker, such as "How can I change my background-color" or "How can I attract Google?". These are off-topic discussions and can be better answered in other areas of the web.
Getting Answers
If you want an answer to a question you may have:
* DO NOT ignore our guidelines for posting
* DO NOT start a new thread without researching for an answer first
* DO NOT title your posts like “HEELLPPP MEEEE! THIS CRAP DON’T WORK!”
* DO NOT write a post like “Have a problem when installing a mod. Doesn’t work. Anybody an idea? Please answer quickly, I HAVE TO get it going tomorrow!”If you do not follow the above, you will be waiting a while.
For using code snippets or any code (PHP,HTML,CSS, Javascript and similar) please always use the "Code" function of the SMF texteditor (second line, third item from right right now).
Posting Attachments (Templates, Modules, etc.)
We both welcome and encourage posting of attachments, especially for code snippets or addons such as modules, templates and language files.
However, the follow rules apply to posting attachments:
* The file (template, module, etc.) must be free of charge.
* You must include the correct license in full as part of the attachment.
* You cannot post links to allow for charging, using torrent/rapid-share or similar, registering or private contacting.
* Either use the "attachment" function of the forum or your own website/HTTP/FTP server and a direct link.If you need to select a license for your work, we recommend reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_free_software_licences. The most common licenses used in our community are GPL (WB is using GPL2) and CCL.
Take care: If there any posted scripts or attachments containing malicious code or security vulnerabilities, then Administrators/Moderators will and must delete it immediately!
Staying Calm
If a fellow community member has an alternative opinion to your own, if you believe you are being attacked, or if you simply don’t like a particular member: always callm down and be friendly, or just ignore the person. If you offend or attack somebody: re-read these terms and conditions before you get yourself into trouble, and apologise for your actions. Please remember that, even though you are communicating online, every member exists in the real world and everyone is a real human. Treat others like you want to be treated yourself...
Promoting Your Website
Do you want to get more people to your website? The best place to get exposure is in the "Website Showcase". The only condition with the website showcase: the website has to be made with WebsiteBaker, and it must be focused on showcasing the actual website and not a particular business, brand, product and/or service. Commercial advertisement is not permitted in the forum outside the special commercial forums that are clearly dedicated as such. Only WebsiteBaker related offers and requests are allowed! General webdesign, hosting and other offers and requests are not allowed. Any post or thread that contains advertisements outside the commercial forums is also not allowed.
User Account
When you register on this forum, you are creating a user account. As with all information posted on this forum, we advise that you keep the username for this account appropriate. With the registration of this user account, you agree to never give your password out to another person except the administrator(s), for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to never use another person's account for any reason. It is strongly recommended that you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft. If you suspect your account has been tampered with, please contact the administrator(s) or moderators as soon as possible.
Personal Profile
After registering with this forum, you will be able to complete a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum administrator(s)/moderators determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.
Account Signatures
The following rules apply to account signatures:
* Only use one picture if you need it, maximal size: 600x100 Pixel and 20kb.
* The “most important rules” of course are also valid here.
* Only 1 normal, non-commercial link to a WB-site is allowed. Shortened links are not allowed (tinyurl, etc)
The Final Word
Always remember: The moderator(s) and/or administrator(s) will make the final decision.
It is the moderator(s) and/or administrator(s) decision (and right) to:
* Close a thread
* Delete a thread
* Ban/delete a userIf you post a thread questioning why a thread has been deleted, that will be deleted also.
If you have a problem and think the decision made was wrong or unfair, send one of the moderator(s) or administrator(s) a PM or email.

This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement. Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out.
