byteworker:
Hello WebsiteBaker Forum,

last week i got time to created a clean template for WB. See the attached zip (new version 1.2 with changes since 2.8.1 "Breadcrumbs")

The template got two navigation areas, one on the top and on the right. Two contentareas are also included. Search will be displayed.

Would be grateful if you could take a look/review at the template (my first one).

Greetings
Norbert

Not bad! But please have a look here: http://www.weitzel.info/WB/pages/testtemplate.php

I tend to use the fields given by me in WebsiteBaker a bit more extensive than others do, especially the description. In my templates I use the description exclusively for meta description ...

Additionally it would be nice, if you change the other meta information that you provide in your template. Personally I would not like to see:

--- Quote ---<meta name="description" content="Layout für Print und Web. Gestaltung, PDF, HTML und PHP" />
<meta name="keywords" content="Grafik, pdf, tutorials, print, layout, webdesign" />

--- End quote ---

if I filled these fields in WebsiteBaker's settings ;-)

cheers

Klaus

on your site i found

http://www.byte-worker.de/pages/web/validiert.php

please have a look with the template you offer at w3c

byteworker:
I found some error messages. Now Fixed. ( hope so)

kweitzel:
Better ... I would still remove following line:

--- Code: ---<meta name="author" content="Norbert Gumbrecht" />
--- End code ---

You don't want to be made "responsible" for the stuff other people write because you are quoted as the author of the page ...

Additionally you will have to rework the license information, currently you have the CCAL in the info.php and the GNU-GPL in the license file ... both files need to contain the same information!

cheers

Klaus
