Just asking, but the last release of WB 2.8 includes PclZip 2.6 wich have been release in January 2008.

there is a pclzip 2.8.2 witch is optimised, faster and more compatible with PHP5+

i've replace the file pclzip.lib.php in /includes/pclzip and it work perfectly

I know zip file arn't cutting edge, but why the last version of pclzip was not in WB 2.8?

You have the chance if you write a ticket for this

[semi-offtopic]
Please - if you open a ticket, keep in mind "one theme - one ticket",
as we've got many problems within mixed themes in one ticket at all!
E.g. the PHPMailer has nothing to do within the pclzip and/or the YUI-files
at all. So i stronly recomented to open three tickets for them instead of one,
within the mixed result in 883a ok and solved, 883b work in progress and 883c denied.

Thanks

Yes Aldus is right, because phpmailer is not working correct, pclzip is ok, YUI to complex in the backend to update in one to another day, So the ticket #883 cannot closed and fixed. Three Ticket are better, and you can closed step by step
