Broken Templates
« on: August 17, 2009, 10:36:58 AM »
In the official WebsiteBaker Addons Rpository (Templates) some Templates are broken and need to be fixed or deactivated.

Eg:
http://addons.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/templates.php?id=28
http://addons.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/templates.php?id=56

Fatal error: Call to undefined function display_news_items() in /www/htdocs/w007be2b/addons/templates/esc_round/index.php on line 68

Broken layout:
http://addons.WebsiteBaker.org/pages/templates.php?id=6

I did not check all of them, there might be others as well.

Hi,

these two are not broken, they propably have a news box in side bar or somewhere (judging by the "display_news_items()" call )

You need to instal news module..

cheers

However, for users who are looking for a template they make/leave a bad impression...

Info: display_news_items() is part of AnyNews. If it's installed on addons.WebsiteBaker .org, the error message should go away.

Of course, the template could check if the module is installed first.

I did not find any usable contact info in ID 28, but I will contact escpro who has done ID 56.

Hi Guys,

thanks for letting us know. I think the issue is an outdated anynews call in the templates.

I will upload ESCPROs update. Unfortunatly I can not process the curiously.green template on my Linux Box (issue with the GFX folder in ZIP File), so if somebody of you could download and fix it i could reupload it.

cheers
